# Delete position

`DELETE /jobs/{jobId}/positions/{positionId}`

## Request

  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`
  - OAuth 2

## Response `204`

Position successfully removed

## Other responses

- `400`: with code **POSITION_ASSIGNED** when position has candidate already assigned and cannot be removed
- `403`: with codes * **APPROVAL_PROCESS_ENABLED** when approval process is enabled * **PERMISSION_DENIED** when job access forbidden
- `404`: Position not found
