# Update job headcount.

`PATCH /jobs/{jobId}/headcount`

## Request

  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`
  - OAuth 2

Update job headcount.

## Request body

- HeadcountPatchRequest
  - `salaryRange` SalaryRange
    - `min` number, double
    - `max` number, double
    - `currency` string

## Response `202`

Accepted headcount update request

- HeadcountUpdateAccepted
  - `status` 'PENDING'

## Other responses

- `400`: with codes * **CANNOT_START_APPROVAL_PROCESS** when approval process cannot be started * **INVALID_SALARY_RANGE** when salary range is not valid
- `401`: with codes * **PERMISSION_DENIED** when job access forbidden
- `403`: with codes * **APPROVAL_PROCESS_NOT_ENABLED** when approval process is not enabled
