# Update job ad fields configuration

`PUT /configuration/job-ad-fields`

Updates job ad fields configuration for the company.

## Request body

- UpdateJobAdFieldConfigurationRequest
  - `fields` object, required: Map of job ad field identifiers to their configuration. Must contain exactly all currently active fields for the company. The list of active fields depends on the company's enabled features.

## Response `200`

Updated job ad field configuration

- JobAdFieldConfiguration
  - `companyId` string, required: Identifier of the company this configuration belongs to.
  - `fields` object, required: Map of stable job ad field identifiers to their configuration. The set of available fields depends on the company's enabled features.
  - `updatedAt` integer, nullable: Unix timestamp in milliseconds of the last explicit update. Null when the configuration has never been explicitly set, which represents the default state.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. Possible reasons: - Missing `configuration_manage` scope - Feature CONFIGURABLE_JOB_AD_FIELDS is disabled for the company - User edit of job ad field configuration is currently disabled
- `422`: Invalid configuration. Possible error codes: - `INVALID_JOB_AD_FIELD_CONFIGURATION` — unknown or missing field in the request; the request must contain exactly all currently active fields
