# Get Candidate Property values

`GET /configuration/candidate-properties/{id}/values`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com`
- URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com/configuration/candidate-properties/{id}/values`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://www.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/allow`
    - Token URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/token` scopes: `configuration_read`

Lists all available values for given candidate property id. This
endpoint is available only for selection-type candidate property types
(`SINGLE_SELECT` and `MULTI_SELECT`).

**[ALPHA]** `MULTI_SELECT` is available to a limited set of customers under early access.

## Response `200`

- CandidatePropertyValueList
  - `totalFound` integer
  - `content` CandidatePropertyValueView[]
    - `id` string, alphanumericAndDash
    - `label` string, value_label, required
    - `externalCode` string: Stable external identifier assigned by the source system (e.g. SuccessFactors), used to correlate values across system boundaries. Read-only — not modifiable through SmartRecruiters.

## Other responses

- `400`: With codes: * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SELECTION_TYPE** when candidate property type is not selection type * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SINGLE_SELECT** (deprecated, see CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SELECTION_TYPE) - when candidate property type is not selection type * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_VALUES_LIMIT_EXCEEDED** when selection type candidate property values limit is exceeded
- `404`: Candidate property not found
