# Get Candidate Property value by id

`GET /configuration/candidate-properties/{id}/values/{valueId}`

Get Candidate Property value by its id.

- CandidatePropertyValueView
  - `id` string, alphanumericAndDash
  - `label` string, value_label, required
  - `externalCode` string: Stable external identifier assigned by the source system (e.g. SuccessFactors), used to correlate values across system boundaries. Read-only — not modifiable through SmartRecruiters.

- `400`: With codes: * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SELECTION_TYPE** when candidate property type is not selection type * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SINGLE_SELECT** (deprecated, see CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_SELECTION_TYPE) - when candidate property type is not selection type
- `404`: with codes: * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_NOT_FOUND** when candidate property with given id does not exist, * **CANDIDATE_PROPERTY_VALUE_NOT_FOUND** when candidate property value with given id does not exist.
