# Create access group

`POST /configuration/access-groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com`

  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://www.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/allow`

Creates new access group with given properties and criteria

## Request body

- AccessGroup
  - `name` string, required: Name of an access group.
  - `description` string, required: Description of an access group.
  - `criteria` AccessGroupCriteria
    - `include` object[]

## Response `201`

Created access group value

- IdentifiedAccessGroup
  - `id` string: Identifier of an access group.
  - `name` string: Name of an access group.
  - `description` string: Description of an access group.
  - `criteria` AccessGroupCriteria
    - `include` object[]

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden to access the resource, check your authorisation and rights.
- `409`: Duplicated access group name
- `422`: Invalid access group id provided With codes: * *INVALID_ACCESS_GROUP_CRITERION* when there is no active job property with given id . * *ACCESS_GROUP_MISSING_CRITERIA* when there is one or more organisational job properties not specified for criteria. * *DISABLED_ACCESS_GROUP_CRITERION_JOB_PROPERTY* when disabled (or one without values) organisational job property is specified for criteria.
