# Download package content as XLIFF

`GET /translations-api/v2/projects/{projectId}/translation-packages/{translationPackageUid}/content`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Downloads the translation package as an XLIFF 1.2 file for use with
external CAT tools.

The XLIFF is generated on demand from the current translation state on
every call, reflecting any translation changes made since the package
was created. It contains source strings and any existing translations
at the workflow step. The filename follows the pattern
`{sourceLocale}_{targetLocale}_{workflowStepName}.xliff`.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Unique identifier of a Smartling project — 9 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
- `translationPackageUid` string, required

## Response `200`

XLIFF file ready for download.

## Other responses

- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `403`: Caller does not have access to the requested resource.
- `404`: No translation package matches `translationPackageUid` for this project.
- `500`: Unexpected error
