# Add word to user custom dictionary

`POST /translation-quality-api/v2/users/current/settings/dictionaries/{localeId}`

## Request

Add a word to a user’s custom dictionary.

## Path parameters

- `localeId` string, required: Locale identifier. Either a 2-letter language code (`en`) or a language-region pair (`en-US`). The language part is always lowercase; the region part is always uppercase.

      - `wordUid` string: word unique identifier
      - `word` string: trademark consistency type name
