# Submit LQA request

`POST /lqa-proxy-api/v2/projects/{projectId}/lqa-requests/{lqaRequestUid}/submit`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartling.com`
- URL: `https://api.smartling.com/lqa-proxy-api/v2/projects/{projectId}/lqa-requests/{lqaRequestUid}/submit`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Starts processing of an LQA request in `DRAFT` state. The call:

1. Rejects an unknown request and a request that is not in `DRAFT`
   state.
2. Rejects a request with no strings.
3. Rejects the call when another LQA request for the same workflow
   step and target locale is still being submitted.
4. Adds missing target locales to the LQA project.
5. Moves the request to `IN_PROGRESS`.

Processing continues asynchronously after the call returns. Get the
LQA request to follow its `lqaRequestStatusCode`.

Requires the Account Owner or Project Manager role.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Unique identifier of a Smartling project — 9 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
- `lqaRequestUid` string, required: Unique identifier (UID) of an LQA request - 12 lowercase hexadecimal characters.

## Response `200`

Request accepted for processing.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request cannot be submitted. `response.code` is `VALIDATION_ERROR`, see the examples for the error keys.
- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `403`: Caller does not have access to the requested resource.
- `500`: Unexpected error
