# Create batch

`POST /jobs-batch-api/v1/projects/{projectId}/batches`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartling.com`
- URL: `https://api.smartling.com/jobs-batch-api/v1/projects/{projectId}/batches`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new batch for the given Job. If `authorize` is set to `true`, then Job authorize will be triggered on the batch execute step. When the batch is created, it has the status: `DRAFT`.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Unique identifier of a Smartling project — 9 lowercase alphanumeric characters.

## Request body

- CreateBatchRequestV1: The payload to use when creating a job batch.
  - `authorize` boolean: if the set is true then the job will be authorized when uploaded and attach processes completed for all files in the batch.
  - `translationJobUid` string: Translation job unique identifier — 12 lowercase alphanumeric characters.

## Response `200`

OK

- CreateBatchResponse: Info about created batch.
  - `response` object, required
    - `code` 'SUCCESS', required: Indicates whether the response was successful or what error has occurred.
    - `data` object
      - `batchUid` string: The UID of the created batch.

## Other responses

- `400`: Provided request parameters are invalid.
- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `404`: provided translationJobUid is not found in the TMS
- `500`: Unexpected error
