# Execute batch

`POST /jobs-batch-api/v1/projects/{projectId}/batches/{batchUid}`

## Request

Triggers asynchronous execution of a batch.

In the execution flow, the batch waits until upload and attach processes are completed successfully (or failed for any reason). When all of these asynchronous processes are completed, job `authorize` is triggered if it was requested, and the batch becomes a status of `COMPLETED`.

Batch execution is allowed only if the batch is in `ADDING_FILES` status.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Unique identifier of a Smartling project — 9 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
- `batchUid` string, required

## Request body

- BatchActionRequestV1: Describes the action to be done with the Batch
  - `action` 'execute'
  - `localeWorkflows` LocaleWorkflow[]
    - `targetLocaleId` string, required: Locale identifier. Either a 2-letter language code (`en`) or a language-region pair (`en-US`). The language part is always lowercase; the region part is always uppercase.
    - `workflowUid` string, required: Workflow unique identifier — 12 lowercase alphanumeric characters.

## Response `202`

ACCEPTED

  - `response` object, required
    - `code` 'SUCCESS', required: Indicates whether the response was successful or what error has occurred.
    - `data` object: Always null.

## Other responses

- `400`: Provided request parameters are invalid.
- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `404`: Batch provided in path is not found
- `500`: Unexpected error
