# Get progress of file within job

`GET /jobs-api/v3/projects/{projectId}/jobs/{translationJobUid}/file/progress`

## Request

This shows the progress of a file within a job.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Unique identifier of a Smartling project — 9 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
- `translationJobUid` string, required: Translation job unique identifier — 12 lowercase alphanumeric characters.

## Query parameters

- `fileUri` string, required: URI path of a source file within a Smartling project.

    - `code` 'SUCCESS', required: Indicates whether the response was successful or what error has occurred.
    - `data` object, required
      - `contentProgressReport` ContentProgressReportItemResponse[]
        - `targetLocaleDescription` string
        - `targetLocaleId` string: Locale identifier. Either a 2-letter language code (`en`) or a language-region pair (`en-US`). The language part is always lowercase; the region part is always uppercase.
        - `unuathorizedProgressReport` StringCountWordCountResponse
          - `stringCount` number: The total number of strings within that particular step.
          - `wordCount` number: The total number of words within that particular step.
        - `workflowProgressReportList` WorkflowProgressReportItemResponse[]
          - `workflowName` string: The name of the workflow.
          - `workflowStepSummaryReportItemList` WorkflowStepSummaryReportItemResponse[]
            - `stringCount` number: The total number of strings within that particular step.
            - `wordCount` number: The total number of words within that particular step.
            - `workflowStepName` string: The name of the workflow step.
            - `workflowStepType` string: The type of the step.
            - `workflowStepUid` string: Workflow step unique identifier — 12 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
          - `workflowUid` string: Workflow unique identifier — 12 lowercase alphanumeric characters.
      - `progress` ProgressInfoResponse
        - `percentComplete` number: The percent of group (locale/file/job) completeness, 0 - 100.
        - `totalWordCount` number: The total number of words within that particular group (locale/file/job).
      - `summaryReport` WorkflowStepClassWordCount[]
        - `workflowStepType` string: The type of the step.
        - `stringCount` number: The total number of strings within step type.
        - `wordCount` number: The total number of words within step type.

## Other responses

- `400`: Provided request parameters are invalid.
- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `429`: Too many simultaneous API requests.
- `500`: Unexpected error
