# Get language detection progress

`GET /file-translations-api/v2/accounts/{accountUid}/files/{fileUid}/language-detection/{languageDetectionUid}/status`

Get progress for an ongoing source language detection action.
Result of language detection is propagated to response as soon as state changes to COMPLETED.

    - `code` 'SUCCESS', required: Indicates whether the response was successful or what error has occurred.

      - `state` 'QUEUED' | 'FAILED' | 'COMPLETED': | State | Description | |---------------|-------------| | **QUEUED** | Language detection in progress.| | **FAILED** | Language detection failed.| | **COMPLETED** | Language detection complete.|
      - `error` Error
        - `key` string, nullable, required: Error key. Null when the error does not have a specific key.
        - `message` string, required: Human readable description of the error
        - `details` object, nullable: Details of the occurred error. Null when there are no details.
      - `detectedSourceLanguages` object[]
        - `languageId` string: Detected source language of the file
        - `defaultLocaleId` string: Locale identifier. Either a 2-letter language code (`en`) or a language-region pair (`en-US`). The language part is always lowercase; the region part is always uppercase.

## Other responses

- `400`: Provided request parameters are invalid.
- `401`: Provided credentials are not valid.
- `429`: Too many simultaneous API requests.
- `500`: Unexpected error
