# Request loan closure

`POST /backend/{gatewayname}/v1/loan/{unityuserid}/closure/{lid}`

## Request

The API will initiate the request to close an existing user loan. It will return appropriate errors if, for some reason, loan closure request cannot be initiated

    - `assetType` 'MUTUALFUND', required
    - `lienEligibleUnits` number, double: denotes the units, available for pledging (either of `lienEligibleUnits` or `lockInQuantity` can be passed, `lienEligibleUnits` to be prioritised if both are available))
    - `dpId` string: 16 digit DP (Depository Participant) ID . Mandatory to be passed for a security with `"isDemat": true`
