# List customers

`GET /api/v1/customers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://slopeai.slopepay.com`
- URL: `https://slopeai.slopepay.com/api/v1/customers`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a paginated list of customers for the organization.

## Query parameters

- `limit` string: Max number of customers to return. Defaults to 50; must be between 1 and 100. Out-of-range values return VALIDATION_FAILED (400).
- `cursor` string: Pagination cursor from a previous response

## Response `200`

Paginated list of customers

- CustomerListResponse
  - `customers` CustomerSummary[], required: List of customers
    - `customer_id` string, required: Unique customer identifier in the client's system
    - `type` 'business' | 'individual' | 'nonprofit' | 'null', nullable, required: Type of customer
    - `first_name` string, nullable, required
    - `last_name` string, nullable, required
    - `business_name` string, nullable, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when the customer was created
  - `next_cursor` string, nullable, required: Cursor to fetch the next page of results
  - `has_more` boolean, required: Whether there are more results to fetch

## Other responses

- `400`: Request validation failed (invalid query, path, or body parameters)
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `500`: Unexpected server error
