# Read a change request

`GET /change-requests/{changeRequestId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.slite.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.slite.com/v1/change-requests/{changeRequestId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Read a change request you opened or review. While the agent is still
working the response is `202` with `status: "processing"` — check again
after `retryAfterSeconds` / the `Retry-After` header.

**Beta:** change requests are not yet available to every workspace:
contact support to have them enabled. Reviewers can read a request they
take part in either way.

  - `audienceUserIds` string[], required
  - `assigneeUserId` string, nullable, required
  - `threadId` string, nullable, required: The agent thread behind the request; null if it never started.
  - `url` string, required: The change request in the app, to hand to the people who review it.
  - `status` 'processing' | 'pending_review' | 'completed' | 'no_changes' | 'failed', required
  - `id` string, required
  - `retryAfterSeconds` number, double: While `processing`: when to check again.

## Other responses

- `202`: The agent is still working — check again after `retryAfterSeconds` / the `Retry-After` header.
- `401`: Invalid authentication
- `404`: No change request with this id
- `429`: Rate limitation error
- `default`: Unexpected error
