# Usage & cost summary

`GET /v1/usage`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev`
- URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev/v1/usage`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Aggregate usage statistics and cost breakdown for the authenticated user. Includes balance, total slides generated, spend by tier, daily breakdown, and a reconciliation block comparing wallet charges, job billed prices, and internal cost events. Use `?days=7` for the last week or `?days=90` for a quarter.

## Query parameters

- `days` integer: Lookback period in days (default 30, max 365)
