# Download a file

`GET /v1/files/{path}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev`
- URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev/v1/files/{path}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Stream a file from storage. Requires a valid HMAC signature (sig) and expiry (exp) in query params. Signatures are generated by the API when returning job results.

## Path parameters

- `path` string, required

## Query parameters

- `sig` string, required: HMAC-SHA256 signature
- `exp` integer, required: Unix timestamp expiry
- `name` string, nullable: Human-readable filename for download

## Response `200`

File stream

## Other responses

- `403`: Invalid or expired signature
- `404`: File not found
- `422`: Validation Error
- `503`: Storage not configured
