# Merge uploaded .pptx files into one deck

`POST /v1/deck/combine`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Merge up to 10 uploaded .pptx files into a single deck, in the order given. Free — merging spends no model tokens, so nothing is charged and no balance is touched. 20 MB per file, 100 MB total. Anonymous callers get the first two files via POST /v1/tools/combine-powerpoint instead.

Merged — response includes a signed download_url

- `400`: Fewer than 2 files, or a file that is not a readable .pptx
- `401`: Not authenticated
- `413`: A file exceeds 20 MB, or the set exceeds 100 MB
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `503`: Merge failed or storage unavailable
