# The SSG form menu — families, when-to-use, bound fields, variants

`GET /v1/catalog/forms`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev`
- URL: `https://api.slideforge.dev/v1/catalog/forms`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

The structured-intent contract for agents. No `?family=` -> the form overview (each form: when-to-use, bound fields, variant count). `?family=` -> that form's variants (paginate with `?limit=` / `?offset=`). REST mirror of MCP `browse_catalog`. Free, no auth. Per-form JSON Schema: GET /v1/catalog/forms/{form}.

## Query parameters

- `family` string, nullable: Scope to one form/family
- `limit` integer, nullable: Max variants (with family=)
- `offset` integer: Pagination offset (with family=)
