# Overlay Messages

`GET /api/overlay/{token}/messages`

## Request

Public, token-authed chat feed for the OBS browser-source overlay.

Resolves the user by overlay_token_hash (same hash fn the setter uses).
Same query and shape as /api/me/chat/messages, minus the session.
404 on an unknown/revoked token. Intended for ~4s polling.

Rate limited per-IP and per-token before any DB work, so a hammered or
leaked token URL cannot turn into unbounded query load.
