# Api 2Fa Disable

`POST /api/me/2fa/disable`

Disable 2FA. Requires password AND a current TOTP code (or
backup code). Clears all 2FA state including any pending.

On success: totp_enabled=False, all secrets/counters/backup codes
cleared. Existing sessions stay alive. Email notification (Layer 5
future) will be sent for audit trail.
