# Reachability-check a published trailer's watch page the way a logged-out reviewer would.

`GET /trailers/{jobId}/watch-check`

## Request

Issue a fresh, cookie-less request to the trailer's public watch page and report whether the page answers 200 and whether the player media source it renders resolves (200 to a logged-out request too). Answers `reachable`, plus `status`, `mediaUrl`, `mediaOk` and a `reason` when it is not. Read-only and free; refused (400) when the trailer is not published. Scope: `story:read`.

## Response `200`

The watch page's reachability.

- TrailerWatchCheck: A published trailer's watch page checked the way a logged-out reviewer would: a fresh, cookie-less request. `reachable` is true when the page answered 200 AND its player media source resolved.
  - `jobId` string, required
  - `shareUrl` string, required: The watch page that was requested, verbatim.
  - `status` integer, required: The HTTP status the logged-out request got back; 200 is reachable.
  - `reachable` boolean, required
  - `mediaUrl` string, nullable, required: The media source the page's player points at, when one could be read.
  - `mediaOk` boolean, nullable, required: Whether that source answered 200 to a logged-out request; null when no source was found.
  - `reason` string, nullable, required: Why it is not reachable, when it is not.

## Other responses

- `400`: Request payload failed validation. The error message names the offending field.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: API key is valid but lacks the scope, is blocked by IP allowlist, or the account is disabled.
- `404`: The named project or source does not exist or is owned by another account.
- `429`: Rate limit for this API key + IP + route family was exceeded.
- `500`: The API failed unexpectedly. Safe to retry with the same Idempotency-Key.
