# Read per-scene music and sound effects.

`GET /pitch-decks/{jobId}/storyboard/audio`

Returns each scene's music bed and the sound-effect cues placed within it. This is the per-scene view: every bed is generated for one scene on its own, so beds read here share no tempo, key or phrase with their neighbours. Read the audio timeline instead for anything that spans or crossfades across scenes. A fully-scored cut normally shows `music: null` on every scene here: most cuts are scored on the project TIMELINE rather than scene by scene, because a per-scene bed is generated on its own and so shares no tempo, key or phrase with its neighbours. Read `audioTimeline.musicClips` in the response before concluding a cut is silent. Scope: `story:read`.

## Response `200`

Per-scene music beds and placed sound-effect cues, plus `audioTimeline` counts for what is scored on the project timeline instead.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: API key is valid but lacks the scope, is blocked by IP allowlist, or the account is disabled.
- `404`: The named project or source does not exist or is owned by another account.
- `429`: Rate limit for this API key + IP + route family was exceeded.
- `500`: The API failed unexpectedly. Safe to retry with the same Idempotency-Key.
