# Generate a piece of brand storytelling from a brief.

`POST /brand-narrative`

The "create" companion to brand coverage. Turns a brief (+ optional source facts) into a finished piece of brand storytelling held to the studio craft bar. Will NOT invent stats/quotes/claims beyond the supplied facts. Synchronous — returns the narrative in the response. Requires `Idempotency-Key`. Scope: `story:write`.

## Request body

- BrandNarrativeRequest: A brief (and optional grounding) for a piece of brand storytelling.
  - `brief` string, required: What to make and the goal — the product/launch/cause, the point, the desired outcome.
  - `contentType` string: The form, e.g. "landing page", "30s spot", "founder pitch".
  - `audience` string
  - `industry` string
  - `channel` string: The delivery channel/format.
  - `brandVoice` string: Brand voice / values to write in.
  - `lengthTarget` string: Rough length, e.g. "60 words", "90 seconds".
  - `sourceFacts` string: Real facts/proof to ground the piece; the model must not invent claims beyond these.
  - `storytellerSubset` string: Storyteller focus override for this one request.

## Response `200`

The generated brand narrative.

- BrandNarrativeResponse: The generated brand narrative.
  - `narrative` string, required: The finished piece of brand storytelling.
  - `modelId` string: The model that produced it.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: API key is valid but lacks the scope, is blocked by IP allowlist, or the account is disabled.
- `429`: Rate limit for this API key + IP + route family was exceeded.
- `500`: The API failed unexpectedly. Safe to retry with the same Idempotency-Key.
