# Read the durable render status + shareable link for an artifact.

`GET /artifacts/{artifactId}/render-video`

## Request

Returns the current theater (MP4) / audio (MP3) render status and the shareable link to watch or listen. Poll after POST /artifacts/{artifactId}/render-video until status is `complete`. A render that stopped with no job behind it reads `failed` (or `stale` over an earlier render) with its error saying so; POST render-video again to queue it. Scope: `artifact:read`.

Current render status + shareable link.

- ArtifactRenderStatus: Current durable render status (theater MP4 / full-mix MP3) for an artifact, plus the shareable link to watch or listen.
  - `artifactId` string, required
  - `renderedVideoStatus` string: idle | queued | rendering | complete | stale | failed | needs_recording. A render that stopped with no job behind it reads `failed`, or `stale` over an earlier MP4, with `renderedVideoError` saying so: POST render-video again.
  - `renderedAudioStatus` string: idle | queued | rendering | complete | stale | failed | needs_recording. A render that stopped with no job behind it reads `failed`, or `stale` over an earlier MP3 — or when the earlier MP3 could not be confirmed, with `renderedAudioError` saying so.
  - `shareUrl` string: Shareable link to open/listen/watch the render.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: API key is valid but lacks the scope, is blocked by IP allowlist, or the account is disabled.
- `404`: The story artifact does not exist or is owned by another account.
- `429`: Rate limit for this API key + IP + route family was exceeded.
- `500`: The API failed unexpectedly. Safe to retry with the same Idempotency-Key.
