# Get a meeting transcript

`GET /v1/meetings/{meeting_id}/transcript`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.slant.app`
- URL: `https://api.slant.app/v1/meetings/{meeting_id}/transcript`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve the transcript for a meeting. The transcript field is null when the meeting has no transcript. When present, transcript is a structured array of text segments with timestamps and participant names. Returns 403 when the transcript was captured while the notetaker policy for the meeting's book hid transcripts from advisors.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - malformed JSON, invalid filters, or missing required book context
- `401`: unauthorized - missing or invalid token
- `403`: transcripts hidden by the notetaker policy
- `429`: An hourly API rate limit was exceeded. Wait Retry-After seconds before retrying.
