# Set Organization User Personal Data

`POST /api/v1/organizations/users/{userId}/personal-data`

## Request

As an Organization Admin, set personal data for a user in your organization.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `data` object, required: Personal data for the user. Every field is optional.
    - `person` object: Name, date of birth, and identity documents.
      - `firstName` string: Given name. e.g. `"John"`.
      - `middleName` string: Middle name. e.g. `"Rich"`.
      - `lastName` string: Family name. e.g. `"Doe"`.
      - `birthdate` string: Date of birth. e.g. `"1990-01-01"`
      - `ids` object[]: Identity documents belonging to the user.
        - `type` string: Kind of identity document. e.g. `"SSN"`.
        - `number` string: Document number. e.g. `"1234567890"`.
        - `issueDate` string: Date the document was issued. e.g. `"2020-01-01"`.
        - `expirationDate` string: Date the document expires. e.g. `"2025-01-01"`.
        - `issuingAuthority` string: Authority that issued the document. e.g. `"SSN"`.
    - `phoneNumbers` object[]: Phone numbers belonging to the user.
      - `type` 'Mobile' | 'Home' | 'Work' | 'Other': Kind of phone number.
      - `countryCode` string: Country calling code, without the leading plus. e.g. `"1"`.
      - `areaCode` string: Area or city code. e.g. `"234"`.
      - `number` string: Subscriber number. e.g. `"567890"`.
    - `emailAddresses` object[]: Email addresses belonging to the user. Separate from the login email supplied when the user was created.
      - `type` 'Personal' | 'Work' | 'Other': Kind of email address.
      - `address` string: The email address. e.g. `"john.doe@example.com"`.
    - `addresses` object[]: Postal addresses belonging to the user.
      - `type` 'Home' | 'Work' | 'Other': Kind of address.
      - `street1` string: First address line. e.g. `"123 Main St"`.
      - `street2` string: Second address line. e.g. `"Apt 1"`.
      - `street3` string: Third address line. e.g. `"Suite 100"`.
      - `city` string: City or town. e.g. `"Anytown"`.
      - `state` string: State, province, or region. e.g. `"CA"`.
      - `zip` string: Postal code. e.g. `"12345"`.
      - `countryCode` string: Country code. e.g. `"US"`.
      - `locale` string: Locale associated with the address. e.g. `"en-US"`.

## Response `204`

No Content. The personal data is set.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
