# Test a SIEM destination

`POST /siem/destinations/{destination_id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/siem/destinations/{destination_id}/test`
- Auth: API key in header `API-Key`

Sends a synthetic test payload using the saved destination configuration. This does not advance delivery checkpoints or counters.

Required scope: `siem:write`

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.
