# List provider templates

`GET /identity-provider-templates`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/identity-provider-templates`
- Auth: API key in header `API-Key`

Returns the catalog of pre-configured templates available to this workspace. Templates are filtered by plan. Pass `template_id` to `createIdentityProvider` to pre-fill protocol endpoints and defaults.

Required scope: `identity-providers:read`

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

- IdentityProviderTemplate[]
  - `id` string, required: Template identifier. Pass as `template_id` when creating a provider to pre-fill `type` and `config`.
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string, required
  - `type` 'oidc' | 'saml' | 'ldap', required: Protocol of the identity provider.

- `401`: Access is unauthorized.
- `429`: Client error
- `500`: Server error
- `501`: Server error
