# Delete a database export

`DELETE /clusters/{cluster_id}/exports/{export_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/clusters/{cluster_id}/exports/{export_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `API-Key`

Permanently deletes the export and its archive from storage. The presigned `download_url`
becomes invalid immediately. Pending or processing exports cannot be deleted; wait for
them to complete or fail first.

Required scope: `clusters:exports:write`

## Response `204`

There is no content to send for this request, but the headers may be useful.
