# Inventory - Get Items

`POST /inventory/get_items`

Retrieve inventory records for a specific list of item IDs.

## Request body

- object
  - `item_ids` string[], required — Array of item IDs to look up
  - `warehouse_ids` string[] — Filter by warehouse IDs

## Response `200`

Inventory for requested items

- object
  - `items` InventoryItem[], required — Array of inventory items with location details
    - `location_id` string, required — Location identifier
    - `item_id` string, required — Item ID (remapped from element_id)
    - `on_hand` number, required — Quantity on hand
    - `inbound` number, nullable — Inbound quantity from purchase orders
    - `alert` number — Low-stock alert threshold

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden. Insufficient permissions.
- `429` — Too many requests. Rate limit exceeded.
- `500` — Internal server error.
