# Distributor - Edit Item

`PUT /distributor/edit_item`

Update an item's details in a distributor's catalog.

## Request body

- object
  - `item` object, required — Updated supplier item data
    - `_id` string, required — Distributor item entry ID
    - `distributor_id` string, required — Supplier ID
    - `item_id` string — SKULabs item ID
    - `cost` number — Unit cost from this supplier
    - `quantity` number — Default order quantity
    - `minimum_quantity` number — Minimum order quantity
    - `lot_quantity` number — Lot quantity for ordering
    - `part_number` string — Supplier part number / MPN
    - `reorder_point` number — Inventory level that triggers a reorder
    - `reorder_rule` string — Reorder rule expression
    - `notes` string — Notes for this supplier item

## Response `200`

Supplier item updated successfully

  - `success` boolean, required — Whether the operation succeeded

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden. Insufficient permissions.
- `429` — Too many requests. Rate limit exceeded.
