# Open the MCP server-sent event stream

`GET /mcp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/mcp`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Public. Opens the Server-Sent Events channel for server-initiated MCP messages on an existing session identified by the `mcp-session-id` header. Requires a prior `POST /mcp` to establish the session; returns `400` if the session is unknown.

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
