# Create an organization

`POST /api/v1/orgs/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/orgs/`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Creates a new organization and makes the caller its first `ADMIN`. Requires authentication and an active organization subscription (platform admins bypass the paywall). A user may belong to at most one organization, so this fails if the caller is already a member.

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
