# Create a skill from a template

`POST /api/v1/orgs/{slug}/templates/{id}/create-skill`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/orgs/{slug}/templates/{id}/create-skill`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Instantiates a new `ORG`-visibility skill from a template, letting the caller override name, description, category, platforms, instructions, and version. Instructions (from the request or the template) must be at least 50 characters. Requires the `PUBLISHER` org role or higher.
