# Set the skill policy mode

`PATCH /api/v1/orgs/{slug}/policy`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/orgs/{slug}/policy`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Sets the org's install-policy mode to `OPEN`, `ALLOWLIST`, or `BLOCKLIST`, which governs how policy entries are enforced when members install skills. Requires the `ADMIN` org role. Recorded in the audit log.

## Path parameters

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
