# Update organization governance settings

`PATCH /api/v1/orgs/{slug}/governance`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Updates the org's governance toggles: cross-department and cross-team sharing, whether new skills and modifications require approval, and whether non-admin members may resolve approvals. Requires org role `ADMIN`. Records an audit entry.

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
