# Submit a contact or marketing lead

`POST /api/v1/leads/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Public. Captures a lead (`email` and `source` required; optional `name` and `message`), persists it, and emails a notification to the site owner. Returns the created lead with `201`.

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
