# Decline an organization invite

`POST /api/v1/invites/{token}/decline`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/invites/{token}/decline`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Declines a pending invite by its token, marking it `DECLINED` so it can no longer be redeemed. Requires authentication; if the invite is bound to a specific user, only that user may decline it.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
