# Accept an organization invite

`POST /api/v1/invites/{token}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/invites/{token}/accept`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Accepts a pending invite by its token, joining the caller to the organization (and any department/team the invite targets). Requires authentication; the caller's account or email must match the invite. Fails if the invite is expired, already used, or if the caller already belongs to another organization.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
