# Get external source detail

`GET /api/v1/external-sources/{slug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/external-sources/{slug}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Returns a single external source by slug, including its skill count, last-synced time, and sync status. Public; cached for 5 minutes. Responds `404` if the source does not exist.

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
