# Get a category by slug

`GET /api/v1/categories/{slug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai/api/v1/categories/{slug}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Returns one category by slug. Public; cached for 5 minutes. Responds `404` if the slug is unknown.
