# Start GitHub OAuth login

`GET /api/v1/auth/github`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.skills-hub.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Public. Redirects the browser to GitHub's `authorize` endpoint with an HMAC-signed `state` parameter for CSRF protection. The client should follow the redirect to begin GitHub sign-in.

## Response `200`

Successful response. The returned fields are described in this endpoint's summary/description; typed per-field response schemas are being added incrementally.
