# Put a matter on the caller's own internal matters, or take it off (any role)

`PUT /v1/me/internal-matters/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sixminute.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.sixminute.ai/v1/me/internal-matters/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

A list holds at most 10 active matters: one more is 409 `urn:six-minute:problem:list-full`, and nothing is written. Marking a matter already on the list changes nothing, and taking one off is never refused. A matter the caller is not served by `GET /v1/matters` is a 404, unless it is on the list already and is being taken off.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `internal` boolean, required

## Response `200`

The caller's own list as it now stands.

- object
  - `matter_ids` string[], required

## Other responses

- `400`: The body, query or path did not validate; `errors` lists the fields.
- `401`: No bearer token, or one that does not verify or has expired.
- `403`: The token verified but may not do this: no organisation, not provisioned, wrong role, or a device problem.
- `404`: No such row for this tenant.
- `409`: The id or the email already belongs to something else.
