# COMPAT(#180): gone; activity types are no longer written

`PUT /v1/activity-types/{key}`

> **Deprecated.**

Activity types are gone, so a write is a 410 of type `urn:six-minute:problem:activity-types-gone` and changes nothing. The body and the 200 stay documented only so a client built against the old route still matches; the 200 is never answered. Removed by #180.

## Other responses

- `400`: The body, query or path did not validate; `errors` lists the fields.
- `401`: No bearer token, or one that does not verify or has expired.
- `403`: The token verified but may not do this: no organisation, not provisioned, wrong role, or a device problem.
- `410`: The route is gone and changes nothing; the `type` says which.
