# Open a version in a frame

`POST /api/artifacts/{artifactId}/versions/{version}/frame`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-sixb-csrf`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

A short-lived path that serves the files of a version that opens in a sandboxed frame, as slides do. It expires within an hour. A kind that does not open in a frame is refused with 409 artifact_kind_mismatch.

## Path parameters

- `artifactId` string, required
- `version` string, required: A version number, or "latest"

## Response `200`

Response for status 200

- object
  - `path` string, required: The frame's base path on this API, ending in /; the deck's entry is served under it
  - `expiresAt` string, required: When the frame stops serving; ask for a new one before then

## Other responses

- `404`: Response for status 404
- `409`: Response for status 409
- `501`: Response for status 501
