# Archive an entity

`POST /api/entities/{id}/lifecycle/archive`

## Request

Archives an <i>approved</i> entity. The entity can be restored if needed. Requires the <i>Archive</i> permission.

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

Entity archived successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Request not valid
- `401`: Unauthorized request
- `403`: Insufficient permission
- `404`: Entity not found or user not authorized
