# Update a user via PATCH operations

`PATCH /api/v1/scim/v2/Users/{user_id}`

Apply RFC 7644 §3.5.2 PATCH operations to a user.

Only the deactivation operation (``replace`` of ``active`` with ``false``)
is supported; any other operation is rejected with 400 ``invalidValue``.
