# Create a domain

`POST /v3/projects/{projectId}/services/{serviceId}/domains/{domainName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fax.api.sinch.com`
- URL: `https://fax.api.sinch.com/v3/projects/{projectId}/services/{serviceId}/domains/{domainName}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://auth.sinch.com/oauth2/token`

Creates a new domain on the specified service to host email templates.

## Path parameters

- `serviceId` string, required
- `domainName` string, required

## Response `201`

The created domain.

  - `result` string: The result of the create domain operation.
  - `records` object
    - `receivingRecords` ReceivingRecords[]: The receiving records of the domain.
      - `isActive` boolean: True if the domain is active.
      - `cached` string[]: Any cached value of the record.
      - `priority` integer: The priority for the record.
      - `recordType` string: The type of the record.
      - `valid` 'valid' | 'invalid': The validity of the record.
      - `value` string: The value of the record.
    - `sendingRecords` SendingRecords[]: The sending records of the domain.
      - `isActive` boolean: True if the domain is active.
      - `cached` string[]: Any cached value of the record.
      - `name` string: The name of the domain record.
      - `recordType` string: The type of the record.
      - `valid` 'valid' | 'invalid': The validity of the record.
      - `value` string: The value of the record.
